Good food, freindly staff, authentic south Indian taste, jain sambhar is not available but the chutney is soo fine you can eat everything with chutney and you won't need the sambhar anymore, jain people must try podi idli here its soo great, everything is made fresh so nothing to worry, if you want to eat south Indian food when in hanoi must visit this hotel...

Truly the food was prepared amazingly and authentically. The food presentation and the butter milk almost took me to the golden era of old Bangalore (90’s) 😜 it’s a must visit place for Indian veg food lovers . My wife and were strolling thro the streets of Hanoi when we saw Southern Delights it was a pleasant surprise to see South Indian food in HanoiThe filter coffee was aromatic and foamy like in ChennaiThe food was fresh and was made with a lot of TLC - the vada and most of the dishes came with the regular accompaniments of chutney & sambhar which reminded me of homei had to meet the chefs and congratulate the chefs for the great food which was being servedSouthern Delights comes across as a place with simple great wholesome food with spick and span interiors with a lovely themed interior and lovely music to suit the dining experienceThank you Team SD for the great food !

We stayed in Vietnam for a week and had food at Southern Delights often. God send for Vegetarians/vegans visiting Hanoi. Exception quality food and nice service. Staff are very friendly. Must visit place for Indians loving vegetarian food.

We were looking for vegetarian restaurants close to our hotel in Hanoi and found this place.The food was authentic south Indian flavor, especially the Masala Dosa, Uttapam and Filter Coffee and very reasonable priced.The staff is excellent and the restaurant is spacious with a relaxing atmosphere.We had lunch and went again for dinner before our flight back home. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again.
You should charge water if it is opened. Why acting so ambitious to earn a little bit more. Be kind, and you will earn.
Tasty food but portions smaller than other Indian restaurants we visited on our journey, smallest glass of salty lassi ever had in a restaurant approx 100ml, not sure why they do this since the ingredients for lassi are very cheap.
We have been travelling around Vietnam for 9 days without a breakfast or satisfying meal for lunch. Had some Indian food in Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang though, but never felt complete. Atlast this was the restaurant we needed. Awhh the moment I munched this delicious masala dosa and Medu vada, it brought me to my home. Food taste was excellent, great. I guess this is the only authentic South Indian restaurant in Old Quarter zone.

It was our last night in Vietnam after spending a month here.We came for the great reviews and the food did not disappoint. We ordered a few vegan dishes and my husband ordered the Mini Thali.All our food came with a variety of dipping sauces and Dahl and the portions were very generous.We finished off our meal with the vegan donuts made with sugar cane juice. These were an absolute stand out and if we weren't so full from our main meals, we would have ordered another serve.I can highly recommend if you love Indian food.

Having been in Hanoi for 11days, we craved for some Indian food. While we googled, we came upon this restaurant "Southern Delights" and reading the reviews, we took a 9 minutes walk and we were definitely not disappointed with the food we ordered. The Idilli sambar, Mysore Masala Dosa, Vada and filter coffee were very authentic South Indian flavours. Definitely recommend this vegetarian restaurant 100%.

I was in Hanoi from 30th Jan - 2nd Feb. The restaurant was nearby to my stay in Old Quarter. It was a wonderful experience here. Food was excellent. Service superb. Everyday I made sure that I was at this restaurant for Dinner. Such was the quality provided. They even packed me food for me to take away while on my way to airport even though at that time the restaurant was not open.
