Truly the food was prepared amazingly and authentically. The food presentation and the butter milk almost took me to the golden era of old Bangalore (90’s) 😜 it’s a must visit place for Indian veg food lovers . From now it’s a must visit for me whenever I visit Vietnam . Glad I found this restaurant. Service was also too good with very soothing music in the background.

Been on the hunt for some South Indian food all over Vietnam. They have always been a disappointment but NOT THIS PLACE! Every dish was very authentic and hits the spot!
I visited this place again with my colleagues yesterday, and each time, I find it to be fresh and full of positive vibes. The restaurant offers a wide variety of authentic South Indian vegetarian food at affordable prices. The staff, including Kannan, the restaurant supervisor, exhibit a high level of hospitality and professionalism. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking unique Indian delicacies in the heart of the beautiful city of Hanoi.

First hour in Hanoi and we were damn hungry. Someone guided us to this restaurant and we gorged on to the food which was fresh and delicious, just like home.

You should charge water if it is opened. Why acting so ambitious to earn a little bit more. Be kind, and you will earn.
Tasty food but portions smaller than other Indian restaurants we visited on our journey, smallest glass of salty lassi ever had in a restaurant approx 100ml, not sure why they do this since the ingredients for lassi are very cheap.
We have been travelling around Vietnam for 9 days without a breakfast or satisfying meal for lunch. Had some Indian food in Ho Chi Minh and Da Nang though, but never felt complete. Atlast this was the restaurant we needed. Awhh the moment I munched this delicious masala dosa and Medu vada, it brought me to my home. Food taste was excellent, great. I guess this is the only authentic South Indian restaurant in Old Quarter zone.

One of the amazing South Indian restaurant I have come across, awesome food... specially the coconut chutney and sambhar. Parotha and Onion podi uttapam is must try. Mr. kannan and serving staff was very polite and welcoming. Thanks once again for such a lovely food and service.

Having been in Hanoi for 11days, we craved for some Indian food. While we googled, we came upon this restaurant "Southern Delights" and reading the reviews, we took a 9 minutes walk and we were definitely not disappointed with the food we ordered. The Idilli sambar, Mysore Masala Dosa, Vada and filter coffee were very authentic South Indian flavours. Definitely recommend this vegetarian restaurant 100%.

I was in Hanoi from 30th Jan - 2nd Feb. The restaurant was nearby to my stay in Old Quarter. It was a wonderful experience here. Food was excellent. Service superb. Everyday I made sure that I was at this restaurant for Dinner. Such was the quality provided. They even packed me food for me to take away while on my way to airport even though at that time the restaurant was not open.

Amazing South Indian food. Loved the flavour and portion size as well. Really polite staff. Atmosphere was also lovely and clean as well. Must visit for both locals and tourists 🙂 (this is coming from an Indian so you can trust me on this)
Authentic South Indian food at a good price point. Ghee roast masala dosa, idli and filter coffee were very good. Service could have been warmer and friendlier.
This food reminded me of home 🙂 Good food, good music and good conversation. It was a wonderful experience to dine here. We had the idli, Mysore masala dosa, Mysore butter dosa and it was a super filling meal for two ! Their sambhar, chutney add-ons are also very authentic in flavour. Must try when in Hanoi !
