Be careful this restaurant isn’t Halal for Muslims. The owner told me that he’s just putting the halal certificate for business only. He’s not buying any halal chicken or meat. I was shocked to be honest. He didn’t know that I’m Muslim. Literally speechless. Be careful please.

We recently visited Hanoi and visited Zaika. The food and service was so nice that we end up visiting 3 times in 2 days. I recommend everyone who is visiting Old Quarter area or staying in Old Quarter area must visit Zaika. The taste, quantity, price everything was so nice that you will not regret eating here.

I'm of the opinion that tourists may not return to this restaurant after their first visit. Both the Egg and Veg fried rice that we ordered were somewhat hard, unusual in my experience, especially as this was not the case elsewhere in Hanoi. The remaining dishes were acceptable, but the prices seemed disproportionately high. It didn't correlate with the standard of the location and the quality of the food.

First time visited Zaika Hanoi and couldn't resist to visit next day. All ordered food was best in class ,served in specious area. Hotel staff Naina is highly professional in guest hospitality and I wish very best to Restaurant, Owner and Entire team. Getting Indian food in Vietnam can be dicey and top of it if we are looking for veg options. So I came across Zaika which was near my hotel.Honestly the services were ok but seems the place was understaffed as I can see just 3 people running around and serving.Atmosphere was nice and Bollywood music in you tube played in background was cherry on top.However the food part was a bit disappointment.We ordered Roomali Roti , Mushroom do piyaza,Jeera Rice and Yellow Dal.Roomali Roti was burnt while cooking and seems was not properly cooked.Mushroom Do Piyaza had more way more onions than mushrooms.Rice was a bit saving grace .The place lacked some Zaika .

Have been here many times with my indian friends. This time its for lunch. the restaurant is surprisingly spacious from the door in. Many indian dishes with great authentic taste, which u can adjust to fit Vietnamese palette. I recommend the momo veg and the lamb chop. 9/10, would come back if my wallet and stomach allow it 😛

Food Quality is good however service is not that good they offer 4 person table with one extra chair even if you are visiting with 6-7 year old kid, quite small table for 5 people, can’t even accommodate ordered dishes on the table very clumsy. One of the best Indian foods I have ever tasted. Not typically "restaurant-type" but very homemade kinds. The staff is amazing. I had some special requests for my baby and they happily did everything. Came here twice during our stay in Hanoi.

We a group of 15 people went to this restaurant on 22.10.23 while visiting Hanoi. We was very impressed by the excellent food and service. I have tried many Indian restaurants in other countries but this one was the best of all of them. The staff was very friendly and really looked after each customer.The manager is a lovely guy and we had a friendly chat. Next time, i visit Hanoi, i will definitely pop-in and enjoy the tasty and fresh food here. All the waiters were very respectful and friendly.

The restaurant's prime location in the heart of the city is definitely a plus, offering a convenient spot to enjoy a meal while exploring the historic area.However, when it comes to the food itself, I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. While the menu promised a taste of authentic Indian cuisine, the flavors fell short of expectations. I found the dishes to be average at best, and I couldn't help but compare the offerings to other Indian restaurants in the vicinity that seem to do a better job in capturing the essence of the cuisine.One particular letdown was the papad masala, which not only appeared old but emitted a rather unpleasant odor. It's unfortunate that this experience overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable meal. While the ambiance and location are definite draws, I would suggest that those seeking a truly memorable Indian dining experience might want to explore other options in the area that deliver on both taste and quality.
